Hunsader farms.

Pumpkin picking, fresh air, nice cool breeze, fresh natural Florida orange juice, farmers market... What more can I say, I had a great day. Lovely brother went out to celebrate this lovely autumn day with me as we went on our little adventure (we are very fond of them). Sadly the festival ended the Sunday before however we still got to pick out some pumpkins and fresh fruits and veggies!

Oh and ending our day with frozen yogurt, yes please! Carmel apple, oatmeal cookie, and Pumpkin pie... Oh joy! Our belly's were very thankful for the yummy treat. T'was a perfect autumn day.

Banana frozen pops!

1 banana
1 cup of Greek yogurt
1/2 roasted crumbled almonds
A dash of honey
A pinch of cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice

Cut the banana in half, mix the yogurt and honey together and spread it on the banana. Throw on the almonds and spices on top for flavor and pop then in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Prefect for that sweet little craving.

Just a moment.

Lately I have been so busy with school and work of course. For a second I just wanted it all to stop (praise Jesus I have four days free of both of them). Exhausted is what I am, although when I think about it... One day when I get married there won't ever be a break, I'll always be busy with whatever it is thats on the table (not saying it in a bad way, just logical). It's just an eye opener for me that I have grown up and been welcomed to the real world with open arms. Sometimes i just want to say, put those arms down and let me go (hehe). Before my grandma and grandpa passed they always told me "life goes by so fast, make sure you make the right choices and your happy." I trust that what they were saying was sincere and how ill feel when I'm in their place one day. I guess today is just one of those days where I look back and think of how I lived my life... i know that looking forward to the future that im going to start to make everyday special.

(Photo is of my sister and I only days before she had left to Aussie, brings back memories)

Oh the joy.

I was craving to be crafty today so I went along with putting my craving into something good. Easy-peasy lemon-squeezy wreath that only took me 30 minutes and I spent less than $10 on the project.

Top of the morning to ya.

It's finally getting (slightly) cooler. My tummy wanted something warm and delicate, so i decided to whip myself something tasty for breakfast... Hmm.. Hot chocolate, I think so!

1 c. unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 tsp. unsweetened coco powder
A pinch of stevia (optional)

Throw them all into a frother and indulge.

It's gonna be ok.

Words really do hurt... I just want to say be careful with your words because your tongue is very powerful and can destroy and hurt someone you love. My heart has been hurting because of some nasty things said to me and here are some scriptures that I just feel right to share.

Proverbs 13:3 Be careful what you say and protect your life. A careless talker destroys himself.

Matthew 15:11 What goes into a man's mouth does not make him 'unclean,' but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him 'unclean.'

I pray that Jesus gives me forgiveness, love and patients (Lots of it). In situations like this I want to be like Jesus and let his light shine through me so that I may lovingly address any situation that I might be in.

Sorry for posting so late it has been a busy week for me...

This weekend I spent it with my sister and baby Benjamin (eeek I can't believe he is eight months already). We walked down the ft Myers beach, spent the day at the flea market, and of course I stocked up on some great new finds (it's still hot out phew). But we survived with pure fun. I purchased my first new cowgirl boots I don't know if I have mentioned before (My love for them boots hehe). Oh and yes the obsession for pumpkin continues I bought this ever satisfying (Norman love confections) pumpkin cheese cake... I devoured it in less than 2 minutes (we ended up baking pumpkin cookies as well) I also had my firsts macaroons, (coffee flavored is always the best way to go) they were mouth watering. Oh golly gum drops I have had a weekend of adventures. Sorry for the overload of the pictures of B, I just can't get enough of him!

Oh and a new recipe to share
Guilty free shrimp tacos

Guacamole:

1 large ripe avocado
2 medium tomatoes
1 tsp lemon juice
Two pinches of fresh ground pepper
1 Tbs fresh chopped cilantro
1/4 c. Red Chili peppers
dash salt to taste

Add shrimp, cook them any way you would like and just wrap in lettuce leaves and enjoy!

My day with Samuel.

I took my little brother on an adventure to Tampa for the day. It was just the two of us exploring the city. Honestly I had such an amazing time, I know this munchkin can drive me crazy sometimes but I love him so much he has such a grateful heart. I took him out for some dessert after dinner to the cheese cake factory for his first time and I let him choose the cake (snickers of course). We just had so much fun giggling and talking; it made me realize what a great man he will become one day.

Friend day.

Friend day was this weekend. I have spent almost my whole weekend being involved and a part of it. I even won a free lunch with my pastor too. we even had some silly pictures taken from our photo booth with friends and family. It is my 3rd friend day with coastlife church and this by far was the greatest yet. I feel so blessed to be apart of such a wonderful church.

(Oh and the proposal is not really, just having some silly moments with friends).

Time for fun.

Busy days have come my way. Sleeping over a close friends house throughout the week. Henna tattoos, and late twilight movie nights. Nice talks and painting our Girly nails. It was nice to get away for the week to enjoy some girl time.

Yes, I purchased my new Yankee candles that I totally adore. The yummy smell has been embedded in the atmosphere in my room. Eeek, little things like this make me super excited! I had time to work on some props for our new church event.

Oh new recipe for a pumpkin smoothie.
1/2 cup of pumpkin purée
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup of ice
1 tsp. of cinnamon

Be like children.

You know when your younger, and you feel like you have nothing to worry about; everyday is wonderful and you cherish everyone because that's all you know. Slowly but surely time goes by, and you begin to grow up; you are told things you never wanted to hear, secrets begin to reveal, and this life you once thought was perfect begins to unravel. As you stand right now in what was once the future, you realize that this isn't how you pictured it. Worry arises, as you once remember how simple things used to be. God says that we should be like children, and be happy, carefree, live simply without judging, headache, and pain. I realized it is easy to say, but so hard to put it into action. It feels like when everything seems right, everything falls apart. But I remember that I can't give up now because come too far from where I have started from. I just don't believe God brought me this far to leave me.
