Mighty delight.

Life is beautiful.
It makes me smile to know that my day will be spent catching up on some reading. I came across this quote in my bible and thought it would be nice to share. Rubbing inspiration in soul today.

Mamas birthday!

Hurricane Isaac is on his way! So I got my rain boots on and I'm prepared for the high winds and rain. My level of excitement is quite extreme (I'm a huge fan of rainy/stormy weather). Today my mama turns 52, it seems bizarre to know how quickly time passes us by. She has molded me, loved me, her honesty has changed me, and just her tender personality has filled my heart with so much joy. God couldn't have given me a better mother than my mama.

Proverbs.

Tip of the day: obey your parents it is one of the greatest things you can possible do. Not only do you benefit from it, but God says we need to listen to them, and their wise teaching!

California trip.

Can I brag for a moment? I'm sorry I just have some amazing cousins here in Cali, they will do anything possible to make feel at home. The time I have spent here has been just wonderful. Even though my trip is short, I have been able to do so much in this short period of time I'm astonished. I cannot believe how many miles part between us, its just so good to be reunited once again.

Photos are from Sacramento and San Francisco. Just some photos of the few days of spent at Mimi's cafe, having a Bonfire in 50 degree weather on the beach, exploring the town, silly cousins, and just having a great time!

Happily ever after.

Its finally time. I have been kept so busy being here in California I haven't Had the chance to get back I reality (but I guess that's how vacations are supposed to be). It's unusual for me to be out of the realm and out of my busy life. My summer has consisted of plans almost every single day, and now that I'm on vacation it's like I don't know how to act, I know it's silly but oh boy it feels good.

Time to catch up; the wedding was beautiful, it almost felt unreal. My cousins and I were getting ready for the wedding when all of a sudden we had a phone call and the bride was panicking because there was an hour left and her hair completely was coming apart; all of her curls went flat (a bad hairdresser dilemma, she was so upset). So she called me over to save the day; with 15 minutes, my magic fingers and my hot wand I quickly restyled her locks. Its quite interesting because I never went into cosmetology or anything like that, but it just seems like I am able to work with my creative side and make anything possible, and the look on her face was priceless. Words couldn't describe how grateful she was, all I wanted was to see her walking down the isle happy as a clam. My Benjamin is one lucky hunk to be marrying such a beauty. The shining sun, happy crowd, and bride and groom lit up the whole day; it feels wonderful to be around family at such a time as this. Weddings are always such a joyful time, it's sad to know that they will all be memories soon. The food, speeches, fondue, pictures, laughter, slide shows, cake, children filled up the rest of the night. My only wish is to make this moment last as long as possible. I'm happy.

The day before the wedding.

Lack of sleep like times ten, but completely enjoying ever second of my day. My little baby cousins woke me up (which was my first time meeting them). I feel like I have been awake for 24 hours from playing with my cousins hair, and enjoying making food for the wedding... Maybe a little too much fun, we enjoyed dressing up as ukrainian grandmas. My auntie has a garden and her veggies grow like they are on steroids, it's amazing! for lunch I was finally able to enjoy some "in and out" for the first time. Super delicious. My uncle (favorite uncle) spent sometime ratting ice cream with us too. Oh I feel like I just might gain 10 pounds before I get back home.

In the sky.

I never realized how great and big God is; you might as well say we look like little ticks or flees, as I was Enjoying my plane ride it felt like something came over me... We are so small, and this world is far greater than we know, but God is much more majestic than all of that. He must have really loved us to make vast and numerous individuals on this planet, and can you imagine the little bugs that we see (ants, mosquitoes, flies) they might as well look like atoms to him. We were all created with so many little details, sometimes we just don't take the time to notice them and acknowledge how wonderfully we were made.
