today i came into work like any other day. accept today was an exceptional day,
i got flowers delivered to me, and yes they did make me blush...
but I'll tell you something, it was the sweetest thing i have ever received,
and better than the flowers, was the little tiny note that was attached to them.
sometimes the most simplest words from someone can mean so much.
most of the people coming through the bank and asked me if it was my birthday,
or what the special occasion was, but i merely told them it was "just because."
almost everyone seemed shocked. but you know what, why not?
why not make people feel special, everyone deserves to feel like they are important to someone.
we've gotten so used only showing affections on valentines, and birthdays or other special occasions.
it shouldn't be that way. and yes some people might think these little things don't matter.
they do matter, because if they didn't then we wouldn't be human,
we all love to be loved, and feel the urgency to express our feelings.
so why not? go out and show your significant other how you feel about them,
i promise you'll put a smile on their face, and i'm sure you will even feel good about it yourself.
