Well what a week it has been, I cannot remember the last time I have worked so much!
I'm basically working 40 hours this week, and yes some people might say I work that much
every week, but I'm still taking summer school as well, so I literally have been drained all week!!
One of my coworkers daughter passed away this week and I wanted to honor her by saying
that I may have not known her, but I sure do know her mother and she is one of the sweetest
little ladies I have ever known, and she really really loved and cared about her; sometimes
it's hard for us to understand what Gods purpose is for taking people out of our lives, and we
become confused and mad at God. I just believe that there is a time for everything, a time to
live and a time to die, a time to rejoice and a time to mourn (Ecclesiastes 3).
I have been filling in for her this week which is no problem at all for me; I would do anything for her, I understand that this is a tough time for her family. But yesterday when I got off work,
I laid in my bed thinking I needed a five minute break, and I ended up passing out at 6:30 in the
afternoon! My body must have completely given up on me, I was still I my work clothes too
afternoon! My body must have completely given up on me, I was still I my work clothes too
(you can imagine the awkwardness i had to wake up to). The alarm didn't even have to wake me,
I actually woke up at five this morning which was nice because I was able to catch up on my
homework, and cook some lunch for myself. Even though It was actually my first attempt at
homework, and cook some lunch for myself. Even though It was actually my first attempt at
cooking fish, it turned out quite delicious and this is how I prepared it,
1tsp olive oil
A pinch of DASH
A pinch of thyme
White fish
1 head of broccoli
A pinch of DASH
1/2 tsp of olive oil
1 Tbs of sliced almonds
I was impressed with how it turned out, I was thinking that there was a possibility that i would have
to throw it out (I'm really glad that didn't happen).
