skim.

the skim was nice today, so i got dragged along to watch these boys bust their moves,

okay it wasn't all that bad, and they have so much fun doing it too.

anyways earlier this week mark and i tried to follow a recipe

and make chocolate chip cookies from scratch, we ended up butchering

the cookies, and i mean they didn't turn out as well as we planned

(some might say we over salted them),

but hey we did exactly what the recipe told us.

today mark decided he wanted another "go" at making the cookies

but this time we made it with out a recipe, more like guess-timation

and ohh myyy goodness they turned out amazing!!!

i think he is secretly added a spoonful of love into it because from now on

im going to be having him make all the cookies.. hehe

oh and a nice tip, instead of using regular chocolate try using truffles.

mmmm delicious, i want some right now.

Tomato

Had a wonderful hour at the beach... If your wondering yes one hour did burn me pretty bad, 

in seriously as red as an apple. I didn't think that I would burn at all.

 But it must be that this is really the first time I am sunbathing since last year,

 I pray that it just turns into a tan because I really really don't wish to see my 

skin all flakey and peel. Yuck.

I surprised mark with a great gift her very much adored, yes we're both big fans on the suspenders.

 I just have a urgency to always find stuff to buy for him. Is that so bad? 

Ugh I think it might be an addiction haha.. Im just glad he enjoys it.

who knew that chocolate covered sunflower seeds are absolutely delicious? (i think im in love) 

after a few days of rain it was nice to have a sunny weekend. though im not excited about 

the levels of humidity rising... but there is not much i can do, i mean i live in the state of florida.

my mom and i made some delicious stir-fry, it was fun having her teach me how to cook each 

vegetable individually, and it was a speedy process too. over all it was yummy... 

im just glad we have left overs.

i snapped some photos of Sharkies and the cute little pier, it was just an amazing view to see

the sunset. i count myself lucky to be able to live so close to a view like this.

whos the cute old man, might you ask? this cute grandpa happens to be on 

this pier every single time i visit. call it fait or whatever you want, my dad said he would 

pay me $20 to kiss him haha, thanks for the offer dad. 

the old man is just so adorable, i just wish i could figure the man out,

i want to know his story, seems like he might be an interesting person.

i am absolutely in love with this little one, he makes me want to have a child of my own. 

benny is just the most gentle baby i have ever met. he is constantly calm all of the time,
its quite surprising, because when i found out my sister was going to have a baby... i was
excited of course but more so i was expecting a crying baby, fussy, hungry, sleepy,
but this little man is just so grown up. he will be three months exactly tomorrow
and he is already trying to stand, crawl, and talk... yes i did say talk.
oh boy when i have a baby (someday) i hope he will be just like ben.

life lately.

the simplest things bring joy to my life, like raw salmon for breakfast, or word of God.
sometimes we take our lives for granted always wishing we had it another way.
but sometimes we don't realize the little things that are in our lives that purely bring us
happiness and warm our hearts. just take a moment to grasp the understanding of all the
wonderful things you have in your life, forget about the negative and start living with
 positive outlooks on life. it will make a difference and i know that as a fact because im living

proof of it.

spent my longest day in school yet, finally finished with all of my finals, success!

oh by the way as i was walking from class and i came across this woman who happened

to be painting her toes in the parking lot, it completely made my day. 

a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do, right?

i just cant believe im free of homework eeekk, it almost feels too good to be true.

but not for long, my online summer courses start on the 14th,

and then i go back into my zombie mode.

but anyways i will finally have some time for crafting yippee.

almost finished.

tomorrow will mark the last day of my first year in college,

it really has been a great one, honestly im glad its over but i know that 

within two weeks im going to be begging to go back. i have learned a lot 

throughout this year, and honestly this year will be one that i will never forget.

one of my dear friends Evelyn Durshpek passed away on the 23rd of February

and everyday we would meet up at our "sexy bench" (don't mind the name). 

it was just always freezing in school, and this bench was in the perfect place.

the sun would radiate directly on us and beam on our skin giving us just a few 

moments to warm up before the next bitter cold hour and a half.

i would do anything to just go back to one of those days. 

i pictured our first year of completion together celebrating with a nice girls day out.

but life doesn't always go according to plan, and you know what, she is in better hands.

this year has had the good and bad days, but over all i thank God everyday for each of those days,
because without them i wouldn't be who i am today.

catching up.

 what a great weekend. i gotta tell you, family and friends are such a great blessing,

even some of my closest friends i consider them family. like my friend

Cat who is recently engaged to Aaron yayyy, they came out to eat lunch with my family today.

ahh just love the both of them. these few days have just been very productive,

as you see, i finally cleaned my closet (praise God)! i never thought that would happen.

but wow, my first year of college has flown by so fast, and im taking finals all next week.

i cant believe that summer is already here, and that means its been a year

since my sister has left to australia. i miss her dearly, every day i get reminded of her

by the simplest things and it makes me hope that soon i will see her again.

ohhh and i haven't introduced my babe to you, this sweet little man on the bottom left corner

is Smokey my handsome pit-bull. the three year old troublemaker never fails to put a smile

on my face, gosh and those puppy eyes, don't even get me started. i just love him.
haha and what cracks me up is it only took me a second to get him too look
at me in the photo i took of my family.

sometimes it takes those simple days that make you smile unconditionally. 

I decided to grab Mark and spend the day with my sister and her sweet little baby Benjamin Mathew. 

But we call him Ben, Benji, Benny, or Benjik
He was born on February 8th, only 7 pounds & 3.4 ounces.

The little man is growing up so fast, already trying to crawl and walk. 

oh and it is just the cutest thing when he tries to talk, it literally makes me melt. 

Childhood.

Today I was looking through some old photographs of my lovely family

of when we were younger and I came across some of theses,

 I was born and raised by two wonderful parents. 

Not like any ordinary parents, my mama and pops both were always extremely connected with us, 

like best friends, and to this day we still are. I love this crazy, wild, sweet, caring family.

God has blessed us abundantly, I have just such an amazing family.

 From the eldest it goes Vitalya, Maksim, Catherine, Elisay, myself, and the baby Samuel. 

Yes, a family of six full blood children, and some how we all found 

our ways to get along through the tough a struggling times. 

But you know what, I wouldn't trade them for the world, my family means everything to me.

relax.

 

getting caught in everyday life is easy to fall into, 

i just took these past few days just to relax and enjoy the beauty of life.

sometimes i appreciate using my time to be alone, alone in my thoughts, and away from the rest of the world.

you might think im strange but i actually enjoy it so, it feels wonderful to be carefree for a moment

and let the day take you wherever you need to go. 

its days like these that allow me to appreciate life even more.

 i was actually amazed at these cute little birdies on the beach,

and how close i was able to stand by them.

i think i started to scare them away by chasing them, 

but it was deffinatly worth it. 

 i wish days like this would come more often.

I don't know why they call it a double if the size of both parties look like they should be one,

but I'm not going to get into that subject. I just wanted to show everyone how big his mouth is, there probably is not a single thing he can gulp down in seconds.

Today was beyond amazing, we couldn't decide what we wanted to do, because it seemed like it was going to  rain, but mark still took me out to a great game of golf; i snapped a photo of our score, and
yes i beat him pretty badly, but he was a good sport. the second time around i promise he was more of a challenge, i was actually afraid to loose.
 i never knew miniature golfing could actually be quite fun. after the game we decided we were hungry
and ate some dinner afterwords, and yummmm... this was probably was the best dinner we ever had.
the food was phenomenal; everything just tasted so fresh and full of fun flavors.
im most likely going to go back sometime soon.
we walked on the white sands for the rest of the night, and the weather in the evening was gorgeous.
i don't remember laughing so hard in my life, we had such a nice time.

this was the best way to end a perfect weekend!
